Hello and welcome!

I'm Tanya, the founder of Life Forge, where I am dedicated to supporting people through their unique life challenges. My background spans through education, psychology, youth services, and counselling, alongside experience with the military and Ministry of Defence, shaping my approach to fostering personal development and emotional well-being widely.

Having earned an Honours Degree in Education in 2006, I have nurtured young minds in the South of England, empowering them to overcome adversities and shape a promising future. 

My career path also led me to serve as a Specialist Instructional Officer, enriching the military with essential IT, motivation, and professional development skills. This role deepened my understanding of the distinct challenges faced by those in military service, fueling my commitment to supporting this community.

Since becoming a mother later in life, I've balanced personal growth with professional aspirations, continually advancing my qualifications in psychology and counseling. I am currently at Level 3 of my CPCAB Counselling credentials, to complement my accredited Master’s Degree in Psychology (GMBPsS).

At Life Forge, I integrate psychology, educational techniques, and person centered counseling skills to create a comprehensive approach to help individuals of all ages, manage stress, navigate relationships, and enhance parenting skills. I specialise in areas such as stress management, relationship clarity and support, and personal development, providing tailored support that fosters resilience and self-awareness.
